And, as I have been saying forever now, the first amendment does not give ANYONE complete freedom of anything. It's why, though we have freedom of religion, we're not allowed to perform human sacrifices or withhold someone from medical attention. Or why, though we're allowed to assemble, it can't be out of control. Or why, though we are allowed free speech, it cannot endanger or harass others. The actual content matters how? Yes. We don't. We currently don't have the power to change how the schools are funded. Does that mean no one is working on it? Schools need to be better funded to stop the need of these advertisements, and (I don't think) companies should even be allowed to advertise their shit in schools unless (INDEPENDENT) research confirms it is healthy. Industries are permitted by the gov't to care less and less about our health. As a result, they couldn't care less. If we (not literally you and me) don't stop them from trying to kill everyone, no one will. And they will be allowed to. They both need to be addressed. The Media is not some evil monster that is made to "consume kids", and corporations are not out to "get kids". There is a thing called consumer responsibility and if the consumer is a minor then it comes down to parental responsibility. I usually disagree with the MEF, because they expect us as Americans to give up our most valued freedom. Media conglomerates have and should have the right to express themselves.
